Animal Media Foundation has chosen Vermont as its base of operations. From grass roots efforts to the State Legislature, this small progressive state provides an ideal environment to affect real change for animals.

AMF has identified Vermont Volunteer Services for Animals (VVSA) as one of these successful and dedicated grass roots organization.

AMF is impressed with the way that VVSA has fostered relationships with both lawmakers and law enforcement, creating and strengthening animal protection laws and combating cruelty statewide.

VVSA is currently working on legislation that would identify the unregulated breeding and sales of animals in Vermont. Relatedly, VVSA is supporting legislation to ban puppy mills in Vermont.

As the Administrator of the VT Spay Neuter Incentive Program (VSNIP) we are able to assist animals statewide with low cost spay neuter.

With the help of the Animal Media Foundation these efforts can be brought to the next level and provide a model for neighboring communities and beyond. Through their dedication and successes , VVSA has shown that the goals we share are attainable.
